Local Storage

LangLexi primarily uses your browser's localStorage to save your progress, preferences, and learning data. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to external servers. localStorage persists until you clear your browser data or use the "Reset All Data" feature in Settings.

Session Storage

We use session-based tracking to maintain your current learning session. This data is automatically cleared when you close your browser.

Essential Cookies

Access and Export

You can view all your stored data at any time through the Settings page. You can export your data as JSON for backup purposes.

Data Deletion

You can delete all your data at any time by using the "Reset All Data" feature in Settings. This action is irreversible and will remove all progress, preferences, and history.

Control Over Data

You have complete control over your data. You can clear specific data by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site, or use the built-in reset feature for a clean slate.

LangLexi is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of LangLexi after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

AI Tutor Responses

The AI tutor feature provides automated responses and suggestions. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors. You should verify important information independently and not rely solely on AI-generated responses for critical decisions.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content, translations, pronunciation guides, or learning materials. The platform is provided for educational purposes only.

Data Backup

Since your data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining backups. We are not liable for any loss of data due to browser clearing, device changes, or technical issues.

Learning Outcomes

While LangLexi provides tools for language learning, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, proficiency levels, or exam results. Your progress depends on your individual effort and practice consistency.
